A Dipole Panel Array

The GL-DY015Q9A is a four-dipole panel array for 134-174 MHz, built as a wide curtain measuring roughly 5.8 m tall by 1.2 m across rather than a single slim mast. Spreading the dipoles over a broad aperture yields 6-9 dBi across the band with a strong, shaped pattern, and the 300 W rating supports high-power base-station service. It is engineered for fixed sites that need a robust, directional or broadside VHF radiator.

Pole-Mounted Construction

This antenna is designed to mount on a main support pole supplied by the installer, using JM-DB clamp hardware to fix the array to that pole. That approach lets the structure be matched to the site mast and keeps shipping practical, while the wide panel format gives the mechanical rigidity and pattern control that a curtain of dipoles provides. The 50 ohm feed is available with an N-female or 7/16 DIN female connector, the latter favoured where high power and lowest intermodulation matter.

Performance Notes

The gain rises across the band toward the upper end of the 6-9 dBi range, and the broad aperture produces a stable, well-behaved pattern suited to covering a defined area or sector. Vertical polarization aligns with land-mobile and paging networks, and a 60 m/s wind rating supports permanent exposed mounting. The high power handling makes it appropriate for transmitter sites and shared base stations.

Selection and Installation

Choose GL-DY015Q9A when a wide-aperture dipole panel on an existing pole fits the site better than a slim mast antenna. Note that the supporting main pole is provided by the installer and the array fixes to it with JM-DB clamps. The lower-gain GL-DY150Q6A and single-dipole GL-DY150Q3A are smaller members of the same panel family; confirm the connector and pole arrangement before ordering.
