Consider GL400IIA when the higher-gain folded dipole configuration justifies a larger installation. Its vertical beam is much narrower than GL400IA-S, so compare the elevation of the intended direction as well as the gain figure.

The size and weight trade-off is substantial: GL400IIA is listed at 465 cm and 10.6 kg, compared with 68 cm and 0.72 kg for GL400IA-S. Choose the smaller model if the mounting envelope cannot accommodate that difference. Main and supporting poles are customer-provided.
