High-Gain UHF Beam

The GL-DYJ350C is the high-gain single-boom UHF Yagi, fifteen elements on a 2 m boom producing 13 dBi across 330-390 MHz. It targets the longer UHF links where the eight and twelve-element models leave too little margin, concentrating the transmitter energy into a narrow, sharply directional beam aimed at a distant fixed station for maximum reliable range.

Sharp Pattern

The long director array narrows the main lobe substantially and delivers strong front-to-back and side rejection. That tight pattern requires careful aiming but rewards it with high power on the target and excellent immunity to interference from other directions, which is a major advantage on busy UHF bands shared by many users. The boom mounts for vertical or horizontal polarization to align precisely with the partner antenna.

Mechanical and Electrical

A 50 ohm N-female feed, with customisation available, and a 100 W rating suit fixed repeater, data and telemetry transmitters. The 2 m boom is the longest single-row UHF beam in the line and is built for outdoor pole mounting; a steady mast and the 60 m/s wind hardware keep the aim locked in weather. Rigid element construction maintains the geometry over long service life.

Choosing the Beam

Select GL-DYJ350C for the most gain from a single UHF boom. Where the path needs even more, the stacked GL-DYJ350F adds vertical-plane gain; for lighter links the GL-DYJ350B and GL-DYJ350A are simpler to mount. Confirm channel, connector and polarization with the far end first.
