GL-DY150N is a mast-mounted VHF omni within the 134–173 MHz product range. The separate 8 MHz bandwidth specification makes channel selection important: state the complete transmit and receive plan when confirming the ordered configuration. The center-frequency VSWR figure should be kept distinct from the limit specified for the operating bandwidth.
The 3.3 m fiberglass antenna weighs 2.8 kg and has a 25° vertical beamwidth. Check the support, mounting height and elevation of the intended users before choosing it over a shorter terminal antenna or directional Yagi.
